As you can tell so far, there’s no dialogue in this short. This was a small entry for the “Silent Manga Audition” which requires you to tell a story with no words. And since I don’t consider myself that good of a writer, this was a neat opportunity for me.
I started working on it around 5 days into March of this year. Seeing that the deadline was the following month, and I had a flight on March 29th anyways, it did pose a fairly interesting challenge. But because I apparently love doing this type of shit to myself, I didn’t see why I shouldn’t have given it a shot.
What also doesn’t help is that I’m pretty slow at drawing, so God was fucking testing me with this one lmao
